While there's no doubt it's the Lionesses' incredible performance during the World Cup that has caught the attention of football fans over the past few weeks, another thing people can't help raving about is their kit.

In the final, where England faced off against Spain and sadly lost 1-0, the Lionesses sported their blue away kit, featuring a retro pattern which former footballer Chris Burns said was "arguably the best England shirt ever, worn by the men or women's teams". But while there's no denying their light blue away kits are incredible, another piece of clothing which has received equally the amount of attention is the the blue and pink puffer jacket that has been worn by the team.

The waist-length Nike coat is half blue, half pink, has a hood, and features the England team logo. England fans have especially noticed that England manager Sarina Wiegman has been sporting the puffer jacket on the more chillier days, and even wore it on during the tense World Cup final in Sydney, Australia. Ahead of the final, Channel 5 presenter Dan Walker Tweeted: "In other news… Sarina Wiegman is obviously a coaching genius but… has there ever been a better sporting jacket than the one the Lionesses have had for this World Cup? #GoatCoat"

Another commended: "I've been saying this all tournament….where can I get this coat!!", while a third added: "This! Said the exact same thing!!" and a fourth said: "Agreed! I absolutely love all their kit and training gear this year."

The clothes worn by football managers is often a fascination of fans, and while many think this is a good contender for best coat - others think former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's legendary black puffer jacket still wins. One person commented: "Sarina has a good one, but there is only one winner," coupled with a picture of the former French manager wearing a black coat which almost reaches the floor.

Wenger was known for his oversized down jackets, and especially for struggling to use the zip on them. Speaking to beIN sports, he said: "They are too long and sometimes the zip didn't work. I struggled a lot with that. But, in the end, because people were showing it, I was conscious that I was under scrutiny when doing it."

Others said Jose Mourinho's famous grey trench coat had to be "up there". The former Chelsea manager's long coat was a familiar sight in the Premier League from 2004 to 2007, before it was handed to the team's museum. Speaking after leaving the club, he told Chelsea's official magazine: "I don't have it now, it is in the Chelsea Museum. I don't think it's good to be nostalgic about it, to think about things that happened in the past. I did that a lot with coats and watches I wore during some seasons."
