Vintage Wrangler jeans are the kismet connection behind the collaboration. “When I was 14 years old and treasure hunting through vintage stores in Stockholm, a pair of mega flared unwashed Wrangler jeans was coveted and now I’m excited that Mini Rodini is a part of Wrangler’s heritage and future history,” said Cassandra Rhodin, founder of Mini Rodini.

The limited-edition collection was a hands-on experience for Rhodin, who is known for injecting color, whimsy and nostalgia into unisex kids’ clothing. She previously collaboration with Adidas Originals and File on Mini Rodini collections.

For the Wrangler collaboration, Rhodini designed the garments and created the dove print used throughout the collection. She also shot the lookbook and campaign images and wrote the story for its campaign film.

The collection is made from 100 percent GOTS-certified cotton. Denim styles include a zip-up vest, a Trucker jacket, overalls and flare jeans, available in solid indigo and two-tone green and indigo versions. Denim-inspired jersey one-pieces and leggings are available for babies. Windbreaker jackets, jersey sets, tees, tanks, dresses and socks round out the collection.

The collection’s retro vibe is amplified by tie-dye prints, color blocking and Wrangler’s iconic “W” stitching.

“It has been such an incredible experience to reimagine classic Wrangler silhouettes for our youngest fans,” said Vivian Rivetti, Wrangler VP of global design. “Each style is designed to withstand the test of time and the many adventures of kids, with pieces that can be passed down from sibling to sibling. And while we are really excited about the design, it was very important to maintain both brands’ commitment to sustainability for a better, healthier and happier planet.”

The collection is available now in Mini Rodini stores in London and Stockholm, shop-in-shop locations in Seoul and Stockholm, minirodini.com and Wrangler.com. It retails for $18-$140.
